Protecting your collection

So here's a question where I'm not exactly sure where to ask. I have several tankobons and doujins but aside from the plastic protectors that the doujins originally come in how do you guys go about sleeving the stuff if at all?

I've been searching around and sadly can't find a whole lot on it. Doujins being B5 should be able to be fit in a 7-1/4" X 10-1/2" standard size comic sleeve (maybe up to 7-3/4"). Tankobons and likewise thick B5 anthologies are another story. The aforementioned sleeves are too big for tankobons unless you tape the heck out of it and they appear to be too small for thicker B5 style anthologies.

I believe I have a single 6-7/8-Inch x 10-1/2-Inch sleeve that Mandarake sent me with a smaller 160p tankobon which fits well enough though a little loose. That same sleeve is too small for a normal 200+ tank.

I saw BCW has a 7 X 10 1/2 mylar sleeve but before I buy a pack of them I ask if they'll fit. I've also heard that mylar is better than polypropylene but I wouldn't know anything about that.

As for those big B5 anthologies with 160 or so pages I have no idea.

So does anyone else care enough to do this to their collection? If so how do you guys go about protecting your goods? My eroge I don't do anything special with besides keeping them safe in a storage box or shelved and I don't have any figures as of yet. If anyone can provide any help to my situation I'd be much appreciated.
