Right now, the release date of the game is still up in the air, but that could be changing soon, since Wildstar is coming out by them as well. Just throwing this out there for people to see if they're interested in playing the game (I know I am, and I don't like subscription based games!)
Nothing is known about whether or not it will be POKF (Pay Once, Keep Forever), Subscription, F2P with Micro, or whatever other business model they decide to go with. However, seeing as the release dates for the game in different territories vary wildly, your best bet to playing this game anytime soon is just downloading the KR/CN clients and using the workarounds to play. Sad to say, but NC Soft sucks after all. XD
