Me and a friend are gonna start Japanese lessons. We thought on this for a long time, and decided to finally give it a go, since next year we're gonna do a big trip through japan and, we might be thinking in staying some time later.
Anyway, what tips do you have? I read somewhere a real while ago, that, with my language (Portuguese) is a little bit more easier to make the transition into japanese (by no means I'm saying that it's easy, I'm just saying, it has a nice start), is this true?
I can speak spanish / english, understand french and italian (dunno if any of this helps...).
I'm not into animes, I'm more of a manga guy, so, I ordered 4 japanese hentai mangas (since I need some incentive, lool), all from my favorite artist, Bai Asuka, and only 2 of them are translated online (my favorites), the other 2 are not, so, this will make me really want to learn japanese, because I wanna know the plot, but, if you guys have any recommendation for an anime that might help me learning, since I presume that, those mangas have advanced japanese in there.
Any tips, or recommendations are welcome.
