Tracking down what files are for the video data (tokimeki check-in)

I decided to post this here instead of the H games section since it's more then just getting a game to work.

I decided to get the updated version of tokimeki check-in (the DVD version which includes doushin same heart) as a replacement for the original version since I got annoyed with having to run it with the included audio CD to get it to run without any problems (it's an even bigger PITA on windows 7/8 as the audio doesn't loop which was the other reason for getting the updated version), but the updated version comes with it's own bugs as the first video (the one when you start the game) is completely black and the opening video only plays for about 10 seconds before stalling with the audio still playing in the background (don't pour codecs down my throat since the original version works without and problems).

With a bit of guess work (I removed the updated version, installed the original version, copied the files I thought were for the videos, reinstalled the updated version after removing the original and copied the files back), I managed to get the initial video to work but the opening video is still broken which is why I'm posting this.

Does anyone know which files the video data is kept in?
